About Us
Cohlmia Eye Center was founded in 1997 by Dr. Sam Cohlmia, a Board-Certified Wichita ophthalmologist, eye doctor and eye surgeon. Our practice specializes in medical and surgical eyecare and treatment of eye diseases and conditions.
Our office is conveniently located near 21st and Webb Road in east Wichita, Kansas. We’re open from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Surgeries are performed by appointment only.
We serve patients who speak English, Spanish and Arabic languages.

Our Services
We offer a full range of medical eyecare that aims to preserve our patients’ vision and eye health. Our ophthalmology services include eye exams, testing, diagnosis, treatment and surgery. We also offer emergency eye care for injuries and trauma such as chemical burns, abrasions and foreign objects in the eye.

Our Staff
Dr. Sam Cohlmia is our owner and ophthalmologist. He performs eye exams, treatment procedures and surgeries. Our office also includes caring support staff who assist our Dr. Cohlmia and our patients at various times during their appointments. Everyone on our team exhibits a gentle, professional demeanor and provides personal attention at every visit.
